God in unexpected places
He waits where no one’s looking,
in alley shadows and hospital halls,
in cracked sidewalks where prayers
fall without polished words.
His power hums in quiet corners,
not always thunder, not always flame,
but the strength to endure one more step,
the grace that shows up unannounced.
He speaks through strangers’ kindness,
through mercy disguised as interruption,
through doors that close just in time
to save us from ourselves.
In the wilderness of doubt and dust,
His presence becomes a pillar,
not removing the desert,
but walking faithfully within it.
So look again at ordinary ground:
burning bushes wear common leaves.
God still chooses unlikely places
to remind us He is near.
fellowship strengthens the journey
No road is truly lonely
when voices rise beside it,
when footsteps fall in rhythm
and burdens learn to lighten.
A shared flame warms the night,
small sparks becoming fire,
hope spoken into silence,
faith steadied by another’s hand.
When one stumbles, many pause;
when one doubts, others remind
that the path was never meant
for a single pair of shoulders.
Laughter bridges the miles,
tears soften the hardest stones,
and courage grows in company
like roots entwined beneath the soil.
Together, we walk farther,
not because the way is easy,
but because fellowship teaches us
we were always meant to arrive as one.
Peace in Uncertainty
The sky forgets its promises,
clouds rewriting what we knew,
and still the heart learns quiet,
a pause between each breath.
Not knowing becomes a river,
cool against anxious feet,
teaching trust through movement
instead of solid ground.
Peace does not ask for answers,
nor demand tomorrow’s map;
it settles softly in the present,
where fear loosens its grip.
In the trembling space of maybe,
hope hums low and steady,
a gentle assurance whispering:
this moment is enough.
So we stand within the unknown,
hands open, spirit still,
and find that peace was never certainty,
but courage wrapped in calm.
