As Surely As the Sun is an orthodox Christian publication dedicated to acknowledging God through works of poetry, prose, and art. We believe that reverent acknowledgment of God can happen in many different ways—in doubt or in full confidence, with praise or with lament, spurred by the miraculous or the seemingly ordinary. 

We seek to serve as one platform for Christians to contribute creative works that in some way, shape, or form testify to the eminence and imminence of our triune God—the Lord who was, and is, and is to come, as surely as the sun rises each morning. For those who come across the journal who aren’t of the faith, our hope is this: that the works within these pages might cause them to consider the living Lord, and press on to know and understand Him.
