Yeshua's Sister
He had sisters,
their names forgotten
to history
but I’d bet he was
their favorite
brother, the one who
listened,
the storyteller,
the patient one.
I would believe you
if you told me
that the youngest
of Mary’s girls wept
when he left home
and later came
bringing spices
on that cold morning.
